Le Bar
An elegant bar area lies toward the rear of the building, boasting two large candelabras by Granet, black glass tables with bronze trim and mahogany wall panels to contrast with the limestones light, sandy-beige tones.
Six painting by Ed Paschke, who is renowned for his bright, striking images based on key principles of abstraction and expressionism, are hanging in the bar.
Le Bar serves a variety of refreshments including 9 champagnes "à la coupe" and more than 70 whiskies. It is the perfect setting in which to enjoy inspired creative cocktails such as the Framboise Collins, the Iceberg or the Chocolate Bisquit, served with tapas created by the Executive Chef, Jean François Rouquette.

What is more entertaining than watching a barman stirring and shaking great cocktails? What are the secrets that lie behind the making of short or long drinks, smoothies or other frozen cocktails? Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme, the first leading luxury contemporary hotel in Paris, offers special cocktail courses to answer some of these questions. Anyone who would like to be introduced to the art of making great cocktails can do so by participating in the following classes organised by the head barman, Yann Daniel.
